2018 has some amazing weddings lined up - new venues, awesome clients and new additions to my camera bag.
Hannah & Chris' wedding in the New forest, at Burley manor, was one such prospect. Upon meeting them both I had a feeling they were going to be great fun to be around and as cool as a proverbial cucumber on the day. For once, I was right (ask my wife).
Although it might've been a bit on the grey side, Burley manor, the guests, the Bride & Groom, all the hard work by the venue staff and the ever impressive floral displays by Lauren (Concept Flowers) combined to create the perfect atmosphere for such an occasion.
One particular feature I was a big fan of was the Doughnut wall...something I hope to see more of on my travels!! (it's okay, I didn't eat one... this time).
Hannah & Chris first met when they were both 'Out out'. Chris spotting Hannah as she wore a crocodile balloon creation on her head (something she had acquired earlier on her adventures, from a balloon artist I think) and this was represented later in the day with a replica brought to her on the dance floor - nice touch!
It's quite plainly clear that the evening they met changed and shaped the paths of their lives in a beautifully positive way. They are utterly in Love and totally suited to each other... bit of luck they got married then hey!?
It's hard to some up such special days into words, so I hope the photos tell their story in a more accurate way.
It is working with people such as Chris & Hannah, enjoying the company of their guests and having such phenomenal venues as Burley Manor at which to shoot, that I am ever grateful to do the job I do.
Here's to many happy years ahead for a delightful couple, thank you so much for having me capture it!!
