Small, intimate weddings are a joy to photograph as it's a real challenge to remain discreet and unobtrusive whilst trying to get the shots that matter.
Mike and Noreen tied the knot at Wimborne Town Hall last week, with their wonderful friends and family around them for support and celebration. Their approach was one of relaxation and love - the best way to distill a wedding day - keep the most important parts. Once married they and their guests walked down the road to Number 9, a well established and brilliant Wimborne restaurant - you just know the guests are in for a treat when they're eating somewhere like that. The staff, as ever, were kind, polite and attentive, whilst the food and wine i am certain were nothing short of perfect.
Delicate cuts of seasonal flowers adorned the tables and the fireplace in the restaurant, to match those in the Bride's bouquet - they were beautiful and another example of the fine work of Carnival Flowers of Wimborne.
Mike & Noreen, having gotten married, were then off on a honeymoon where (by chanced timing) they'd get to see Bruce Springsteen in concert whilst away. They both love live music and in a similar attitude to myself, believe that the best entertainers and musicians were born of an era prior to my own. I hope they have a great time away and many many happy years together as husband and wife - it was a delight to be there for their day.
