It's not often i'm left speechless or lost for superlatives, but after Charlotte & Scott's wedding in Mallorca (Majorca... whichever) i couldn't really sum it up in words. It's fortuitous then that i'm a photographer and hopefully able to convey the awesomeness of their weekend of celebrations in pictoral form.
Starting on the Thursday the boys and girls each headed their separate ways to enjoy one last shindig as stags and hens respectively... any excuse really. I went to visit the boys at a gorgeous beach side bar, just as the sun set and the drink took hold. Walking back from there was one of the most peaceful moments of my year. Happiness is contagious, you see. So walking back to the hotel i carried the laughter, heckles and hilarity of a bunch of guys celebrating their friends impending nuptials - mix that with the sand, sea and sunset and you're on to a winner.
On the Friday all the weekend guests were invited to the hotels roof top bar for food and drinks, a sort of pre-celebration celebration to the celebrating that was to be celebrated the following day... the wedding day.
The venue was about 30 minutes drive away from the hotel near Palma, a quite phenomenally stunning venue called Finca Es Cabas. Not only the venue but the landscape around it was awe inspiring; such as it was surrounded by mountains, a vineyard, an orange grove and various fruiting trees. Oh and the Turkeys that made a bunch of noise during the ceremony!! Quite honestly, you could shoot for days there and still not cover everything you wanted to.
Charlotte, Scott and their guests were amazing. I'd like to think i've made more than an acquaintance with many of them, they're just a delight to spend time with and they're bloody funny to boot. Honestly i could write for eons and still not do it justice, so i'll save you the pain of trawling through any more of my grammatical faux pas and let you see for yourself.
Thank you so much to Scott & Charlotte for having me out there with them to capture the whole occasion, they've set the bar very high and i couldn't be happier for them.
