I had the pleasure of being asked to photograph a wonderful couple's wedding at a quiet and tucked away location near Blandford. The couple in question are Tom & Charlene, a vibrant and enthusiastic blend of beautiful personalities. It was an honour to photograph their wedding and another reminder of how fortunate i am to work with such lovely people, so regularly.
Set in gorgeous gardens and woodland, Springhead is a conservation facility / area within a valley of Dorset's rolling hills - offering the perfect backdrop to their wedding day. Choosing December for your wedding is always a risk... but no more risky than booking a wedding in Britain full stop you could argue. The moody clouds, offset against the vibrant colours of the bride's amazing Pink hair worked really well and it draws out both of their great and colourful characters.
They and their guests were a joy to be around and talk to, making it far easier to photograph them whilst they played board games in the afternoon (i had totally forgotten about pass the pigs... just ordered it as i write this).
It was, all in all, the most welcoming wedding you could hope to attend and i commend Tom, Charlene & their families on doing such a great job!
Wishing you all well for the Christmas season.
Thanks for stopping by,
