I initially met Lisa & Martin at a wedding at The Larmer Tree a few years ago. Even then, i knew they were a delightful couple - both beautiful people and both very easy to talk to. It was a huge pleasure to capture their wedding day in the middle of Summer, as they used a number of stunning locations for each part of the day. The bridal prep was conducted at The Pig on the Beach, whilst the ceremony was held in Studland's gorgeous little church. From there they traveled via boat to Shell Bay restaurant which overlooks Poole Harbour. The Pig on the Beach & Studland Church are both steeped in character and charm, plus they encourage quiet reflection which is never a bad thing.
Not only did they choose great locations, they had a guest list full of genuinely lovely people. This makes a huge difference to a wedding, the people who are there. Their guests lived up to the surroundings and thus a phenomenal wedding was enjoyed by all.
After the celebrations, the guests were treated to a sunset ferry ride around Poole Harbour, which offered up the best light i've seen all year. Once again, couple that with Lisa & Matt and you've got a staggeringly beautiful combination. It was a day that will stick in the memory for a long long time and i hope the images i captured are a happy reminder for a long time to come.
My sincere best wishes to Lisa & Matt xx
