Until Vishal & Karishma contacted me, i had never photographed an Indian wedding. I've got to say, it was one of the best experiences of my Wedding Photography career so far. The colour, the music, the hospitality and the laughter was incredible - a wonderful, wonderful occasion.
The venue, Hedsor House, is a staggeringly beautiful backdrop; with a history of being in movies and being home to a lovely family. It offers plenty of space, a huge amount of light, character and charm, whilst being classy yet cosy - it was a fantastic choice by the bride and groom.
Now, as far as food is concerned - sometimes i get fed at weddings, sometimes i don't, but as long as i know either way beforehand, then its fine. On this day, however, i was belt-fed the most incredible food / Indian food i've had the pleasure of eating - phenomenally good and so varied, i tried many new things that day. I was asked dozens of times 'Have you eaten? You must eat. Go and get some food'. Whilst i wasn't there to eat, i was there to work, it was a new and eye opening experience to be so well fueled for the day, by everyone there! I'd like to thank all the guests there for their hospitality and their kindness, it's magic!
Vishal and Karishma? Well, they're some of the loveliest people i've ever worked with and they created a wedding that is right up there as one of my all time favourites, they raised the bar!!
I actually went to school with Vishal, some 23 years ago and we hadn't seen each other in all that time, so to watch him get married was an utter joy. Full circles are the best!
I'd like to thank them both, sincerely, for choosing me to capture their wedding day in all its bountiful glory and i'd like to wish them an fantastic life together.
